The song is the second most successful song of Shakira's career, behind only "Hips Don't Lie". It hit number one in 29 countries, becoming the biggest hit of 2002 worldwide. The song also peaked at number two and six on the UK Singles Chart and U.S. Billboard Hot 100 respectively.
