The song also peaked at number two and six on the UK Singles Chart and U.S. Billboard Hot 100 respectively.

"Don't Bother" is the lead single from Shakira's second English language studio album, Oral Fixation Vol. 2. The song premiered on AOL Music First Listen Session on October 9, 2005 and was later released to U.S. radio a week later. She performed the song live at the 2005 MTV Europe Music Awards. It peaked at number nine on the UK Singles Chart.
